The union minister for Science and Technology, Dr Jitendra Singh replied in a written reply to a Rajya Sabha question that India is developing a Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV). The SSLV is being developed by India Space Research Organization (aka ISRO) with partnership with the private sector and will be launched in 2022's first quarter, aiming to increase India‘s capability in the global launch services market.
